Welcome to Dynamic Range Leadership

My name is Brian Renshaw, and I’m the creator of Dynamic Range Leadership.

Dynamic Range Leadership is for people leading teams, ministries, and organizations who want to:

  • Cut through complexity and bring clarity to their work and teams

  • Build systems and rhythms that help people do their best work

  • Lead with focus and steadiness in a distracted world

If you want to grow in thoughtful, disciplined leadership that creates clarity for yourself and your team, start with the founding essay that shaped this publication. It captures the heart of what Dynamic Range Leadership is about:

Who I Am

I’m a Christian higher education leader, writer, and photographer based in Louisville, Kentucky. I serve at Southern Seminary, where I focus on enrollment strategy and lead various related teams. My work centers on establishing creative and effective ways to implement our mission and create teams that thrive.

Over the years, I’ve come to see leadership as both craft and stewardship—an ongoing practice of bringing order to complexity, helping others flourish, and staying grounded amid the noise. My essays are born out of that daily tension of thinking, leading, and creating with clarity.

Outside of work, you’ll find me playing strategy games with my wife, coaching my son’s various sports teams, and always carrying a camera (Sony a7RV and Fuji X100VI for the camera enthusiasts out there).
